Cadet Troop Leadership Training (CTLT) Platoon Leader
		DATES: June - August 2010 LOCATION: Worldwide This annual event is part of a three track program; CTLT Platoon Leader, Drill Cadet Leadership Training (DCLT), and internships. It allows cadets from the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) and United States Military Academy (USMA) to train in platoon leader positions. Cadets are placed in charge of regular Army platoons and are tested on their ability to perform the leadership and management tasks necessary to train the platoon’s Soldiers and maintain its equipment. The experiences, insights and firsthand knowledge received at CTLT can better prepare a cadet for his/her future as an officer. 	Mounted Maneuver Training (MMT)
	DATES: June - July 2010 LOCATION: Fort Knox, Kentucky The Department of the Army (DA) and the US Forces Command (FORSCOM) sponsors this annual event for United States Military Academy (USMA) cadets as part of their pre-commissioning program. All branches of the Army are represented to ensure that each cadet is able to view and assess the branches they are most interested in. MMT culminates with a real world scenario exercise and prepares cadets for future service in the Army. For more information, visit USMA.

		Warrior Forge
		DATES (Sessions): June - July 2010 (Dates vary by regiment) DATES (Branch Orientations): TBD LOCATION: Fort Lewis, Washington This annual event brings together over 6000 Army ROTC cadet and National Guard Officer Candidates. Warrior Forge incorporates a wide range of subjects that are designed to develop and evaluate a participant’s leadership ability. The challenges of Warrior Forge are rigorous and demanding, both mentally and physically, and provide a new perspective on an individual’s ability to perform exacting tasks and make difficult decisions in demanding situations. The overall goal of this event is to test intelligence, common sense, ingenuity and stamina. For more information, visit the Western Region Cadet Command.
