BASIC ALLOWANCE FOR HOUSING (BAH)	BAH payable at the "with dependent" rate for dependents' location. ***CONUS COLA payable for dependents location if it applies according to DOD website: http://perdiem.hqda.pentagon.mil/perdiem/ccform.html.                              Effective date is date of arrival of dependents at new residence.	Government quarters are assigned for all SM assigned to Kuwait. BAH will be paid at the barracks rate effective the date of arrival.                                        BAH from prior duty station STOPS upon arrival in Kuwait! 					SM receiving the "without dependent" rate will lose that BAH, and BAH at the barracks rate will be effective upon arrival to Kuwait if SMs' were stationed together before reassignment.
					SMs' were not stationed together prior to PCSing to Kuwait, and was receiving BAH at the "with dependent" rate for child from a previous marriage keeps BAH status.
FAMILY SEPARATION ALLOWANCE (FSA)	FSA-R starts the day SM left family for Kuwait. ***If SM went TDY enroute for more than 30 days, and visited family for less than 30 days, FSA-T starts the day SM initially left family to go TDY.	Not entitled to FSA.	Not entitled to FSA.	FSA-R starts the day SM left family for Kuwait. ***If SM went TDY enroute for more than 30 days, and visited family for less than 30 days, FSA-T starts the day SM initially left family to go TDY. RECOMMENDED DOCUMENTS TO BRING TO KUWAIT	Marriage certificate, DD 2367 (If orders states SM elect to leave family member(s)) at an OCONUS location) along with copy of Lease.		Copy of divorce decree.                               * If entitled to BAH-DIFF: custody court order with amount of support and child's name & birth date. If birth date not listed on court order for child, fill out #10 on DA 5960 with birth date and amount of support.	Divorce decree, custody court orders.
NOTE:
1.  A SOLDIER WITH NO DEPENDENTS WILL HAVE HIS BAH-WITHOUT RATE STOPPED UPON ARRIVAL IN KUWAIT
2.  COLA FOR ALL MiTT MEMBERS IS ONLY AUTHORIZED AT THE "BARRACKS" RATE.  EFFORTS TO CHANGE THAT RATE WHILE IN IRAQ WILL RESULT IN A DEBT TO THE SM
3. DITY MOVES NEED TO BE CLOSED OUT AT PREVIOUS DUTY STATION PRIOR TO ARRIVAL IN KUWAIT.
